The main objective of this workshop initiative is to identify and bring together enthusiastic Operations Management (OM) researchers of all levels and faculties (e.g. lecturers, PhD students, postdocs, professors) from the Central and Eastern European (CEE) region by creating a stimulating atmosphere in an academic environment.
This should increase the number of OM scholars in the CEE region (as well as from neighbouring countries, like in the “Danube region“: Germany, Austria, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Ukraine and Moldova) in order to strengthen their connections by creating a cooperative and sustainable research network.
It also aims to promote EurOMA as a leading international network of academics and practitioners from around the world who have a strong interest in the development of operations management in Europe.
